Native Vermont Wood Telling a Story

Currier Forest Products cuts and mills a wide variety of sustainably harvested native Vermont wood species in custom widths, lengths, and profiles for furniture makers, wood turners, and luthiers.

We harvest a diverse range of native Vermont wood, each tree telling a story from its years of growing in the Northeast Kingdom. Furniture makers are attracted to these stories and the little imperfections that make each piece of wood unique.

Tonewood for Instrument Making

Our Red Spruce Tonewood is prized for instrument making, as its combination of tight grain pattern, high stiffness, and relative light weight helps resonate sound beautifully. Currier Forest Products also offers a range of spalted wood, which is known for its distinct coloration.
